EU Project participation
CIVET 2000 is partner of the IS2WEB project in Albania. This project is funded by the European Commission and aims at assisting suitable research organisations in the Western Balkan countries. It also aims at informing these countries and actively involving them in research funded by the European Commission in the field of Information Society Technologies (IST).

This assistance will be provided through:

• Mentoring Workshops on Information Society Technologies programme opportunities, procedures and Research and Development culture.
• Thematic Workshops for transferring research results and technologies related to selected strategic objectives of the IST programme, assisting research organisations in elaborating ideas for future research proposals
• Facilitating the development of networks between research organisations in the Western Balkan region and the EU in order to exchange ideas and pursue joint research collaboration.
